Container Transfer Equipment & Hydraulic Lifting Systems

Explore ZFITA equipment for transferring ISO shipping containers between a truck chassis and ground level. Our container transfer range currently features portable four-corner hydraulic container lifting jacks for 20ft and 40ft applications.

Container Transfer: Two Different Handling Tasks

“Container transfer” can describe both raising a container off a truck and moving a container across a yard. These are different operations requiring different equipment. ZFITA's hydraulic container lifting jacks are designed for the first task: vertical lifting and lowering.

Lift from TruckRaise a compatible ISO container so that the truck chassis can be removed under the specified operating procedure.
Lower to GroundPlace the container in a designated ground-level position, subject to load, ground and clearance requirements.
Return to ChassisLift the container to a verified working height for positioning a compatible truck chassis underneath.

Container Lifting Jacks

ZFITA's portable hydraulic container jacking system uses four lifting units to raise and lower compatible shipping containers vertically. It is intended for container transfer between a vehicle chassis and a suitable ground-level position—not for driving a suspended container around a port or logistics yard.

Choose the Right Container Handling Solution

The appropriate equipment depends on whether the operation is a stationary vertical transfer or actual transport around a yard.

Container Transfer Equipment FAQ

What equipment is used to lift a container off a truck?

A four-corner hydraulic container lifting jack system is one option for compatible ISO containers. The actual suitability depends on gross weight, lifting connections, truck clearance and ground support.

Is a container jacking system the same as a straddle carrier?

No. A jacking system performs stationary vertical lifting and lowering. A straddle carrier is designed to lift and transport containers within a yard.

Can the hydraulic jacks handle 20ft and 40ft containers?

ZFITA lists 20ft and 40ft container compatibility for its standard product range. Confirm container type and lifting geometry for your specific project.
