Drive Through Truck Tipper

Different from conventional unloading platforms that require trucks to reverse and exit after unloading, the TKD series drive through models realizes a full straight-through working mode. Trucks drive forward into the platform for positioning, clamping and unloading, and drive straight forward out of the equipment after the operation is completed, with no reversing maneuver required throughout the whole process.

Product Introduction

TKD-Series Drive Through Truck Tipper

                                                       —-No Reverse Hydraulic Unloading Platform

The TKD-Series Drive Through Truck Tipper is a pass-through bulk unloading solution developed and manufactured by ZFITA, based on mature and reliable deep foundation hydraulic tipping platform technology.

This model completely inherits all core mechanical structure, hydraulic configuration, power unit and automatic control parameters of our standard deep foundation truck tipper. The biggest structural upgrade is the one-way drive-through layout with inlet and outlet ramps.

Different from conventional unloading platforms that require trucks to reverse and exit after unloading, the TKD series realizes a full straight-through working mode. Trucks drive forward into the platform for positioning, clamping and unloading, and drive straight forward out of the equipment after the operation is completed, with no reversing maneuver required throughout the whole process.

Designed for high-frequency and high-volume bulk material unloading scenarios, this drive-through structure optimizes yard traffic flow, effectively shortens single-vehicle unloading cycle time, eliminates safety risks caused by heavy truck reversing, and greatly improves the overall operation efficiency and safety level of the terminal.

Working Principle & Operation Flow

The TKD drive-through truck tipper maintains the stable hydraulic lifting principle of the traditional deep foundation tipper, and only optimizes the overall traffic layout:

  1. The truck drives forward steadily onto the tipping platform through the front entry ramp;
  2. Truck stop at the right position then the system rise the wheel-stop device;
  3. The heavy-duty hydraulic system lifts the platform to the set tilt angle to realize full gravity discharge of bulk materials;
  4. After unloading is completed, the platform resets horizontally, and the clamping device releases automatically;
  5. The truck drives straight forward out from the rear exit ramp to complete the entire unloading cycle, zero reversing operation.

Core Structural Difference (VS Standard Reverse Exit Tipper)

All internal configurations, bearing capacity, hydraulic performance and service life standards are completely consistent with ZFITA standard deep foundation truck tipper. The only difference is the traffic and ramp design:

  • Standard Model: Single-side ramp, trucks must reverse in before unloading, requiring extra yard space for vehicle turning and reversing;
  • TKD Drive Through Model: Independent ramps (entry + exit), one-way linear traffic design, no reversing needed, more suitable for continuous queuing operation of a large number of trucks.

Main Features

  • Consistent Heavy-Duty Core Performance
    Adopts the same reinforced integral steel frame, thickened load-bearing beam and dual heavy-duty hydraulic cylinder configuration as the standard deep foundation tipper, with strong impact resistance and stable load-bearing capacity, adapting to long-term 24-hour continuous heavy-load operation.
  • Full No-Reverse Straight-Through Operation
    Unique ramp pass-through design realizes one-way in and one-way out of trucks, completely avoiding safety hazards such as blind spots and collisions caused by heavy truck reversing, and optimizing site traffic management.
  • Automatic Mechanical Clamping System
    Equipped with high-strength wheel-stop device, which firmly locks the truck chassis during high-angle tipping to prevent vehicle displacement or tilting, ensuring operation safety under full-load and uneven material conditions.
  • Intelligent PLC Full-Automatic Control
    Supports one-key automatic cycle of positioning, clamping, tipping, resetting and releasing. It is equipped with sound and light safety alarm and electrical interlock protection, and reserves manual emergency operation mode.
  • Customized Engineering Design
    According to customer’s actual truck length, wheelbase, tonnage and site foundation conditions, the platform size, ramp gradient and overall civil engineering layout can be customized to match different terminal construction standards.
  • Diversified Optional Configurations
    Integrated automatic weighing system, dust removal and dust cover device, remote monitoring module, explosion-proof electrical and hydraulic components are optional to meet the unloading needs of different materials and special working conditions.

F.A.Q

Q1: What is the essential difference between TKD drive through series and ordinary deep foundation tipper?
A1: The internal performance and parameters are exactly the same. The TKD drive through series adopts a front-in and front-out straight-through design with double ramps, which completely cancels the truck reversing link, making the operation more efficient and safer.

Q2: Is the TKD drive-through tipper a customized model?
A2: The core equipment is mature and standardized. The overall ramp layout and civil engineering scheme will be customized according to the user’s on-site space and truck parameters to ensure the best matching effect.

Q3: What are the core advantages of the drive-through structure?
A3: It realizes one-way streamlined operation of the yard, greatly improves the passing efficiency of continuous trucks, eliminates the safety risk of heavy truck reversing, and reduces site management pressure.
