Industry Challenges Inefficient Bulk Loading with Tradi […]
ZFITA manufactures stationary hydraulic truck dumpers for bulk material unloading, with 100T, 120T and 150T configurations. Available options include deep and shallow foundations, drive-through and back-on truck access, and customized tipping platforms. Designed for grain, fertilizer, minerals, biomass and other bulk materials, our hydraulic truck tipping systems can be integrated with receiving pits, hoppers and conveyors.
ZFITA manufactures stationary hydraulic truck dumpers for unloading dry bulk materials from trucks and semi-trailers.
Our stationary truck dumper range includes deep foundation, shallow foundation, drive-through and back-on configurations, with rated lifting capacities of 100, 120 and 150 tons. Selected drive-through designs are also available in 80-ton configurations.
Each system uses a heavy-duty hydraulic tipping platform to raise the loaded vehicle to a controlled angle, allowing bulk materials to discharge by gravity into a receiving pit, hopper or conveying system.
ZFITA provides customized platform dimensions, foundation arrangements, vehicle access layouts and hydraulic unloading equipment according to project requirements.
Stationary truck dumpers can be configured according to two main factors: foundation installation and truck traffic arrangement.
Model Series: ZTTSJ-100 / ZTTSJ-120 / ZTTSJ-150
The deep foundation truck dumper is designed for permanent bulk unloading stations with a recessed hydraulic tipping platform.
When the platform is lowered, it can remain approximately level with the surrounding operating surface, allowing trucks to enter the designated unloading position.
The ZTTSJ series features a dual-cylinder hydraulic lifting arrangement with synchronized control.
Main Features
Suitable for: Grain receiving stations, ports, mineral handling facilities and permanent bulk unloading installations.

Model Series: ZTTQJ-100 / ZTTQJ-120 / ZTTQJ-150
The shallow foundation configuration is designed for projects where deep excavation is restricted or less practical.
Its supporting structure and installation layout can be adapted to site conditions, available foundation depth and truck access requirements.
Main Features
Suitable for: Existing industrial facilities, constrained construction sites and unloading stations where deep foundation work is undesirable.
Model Series: TKD
The drive-through truck dumper uses a one-way traffic layout, allowing trucks to enter the unloading station from one side and drive forward out of the opposite side.
Unlike conventional back-on arrangements, the truck does not need to reverse into the tipping position.
The TKD series can incorporate an integrated receiving pit, hydraulically operated wheel stops, automatic controls and customized entry and exit arrangements.
Main Features
Suitable for: High-frequency truck unloading stations, grain terminals and facilities requiring organized one-way vehicle circulation.
The back-on arrangement is a conventional truck access configuration in which the truck reverses onto the designated tipping platform.
It is suitable for unloading stations where one primary access side is available and the site provides sufficient reversing and maneuvering space.
Back-on operation can be combined with an appropriate deep or shallow foundation design.
Main Features
Suitable for: Facilities with established reversing procedures and sufficient vehicle maneuvering space.

| ZTTSJ-100 | 100 tons | 17 × 3 m | 40° / 45° | Deep Foundation |
| ZTTSJ-120 | 120 tons | 17 × 3 m | 40° / 45° | Deep Foundation |
| ZTTSJ-150 | 150 tons | 17 × 3 m | 40° / 45° | Deep Foundation |
| ZTTQJ-100 | 100 tons | 17 × 3 m | 40° / 45° | Shallow Foundation |
| ZTTQJ-120 | 120 tons | 17 × 3 m | 40° / 45° | Shallow Foundation |
| ZTTQJ-150 | 150 tons | 17 × 3 m | 40° / 45° | Shallow Foundation |
| TKD Series | 80–150 tons | Customized | 25°–55° | Drive-Through |
Technical Notes
The correct foundation design depends on site conditions rather than the type of bulk material alone.
| Selection Factor | Deep Foundation | Shallow Foundation |
| Installation | Recessed platform | Shallow foundation structure |
| Excavation | Generally more extensive | Typically reduced depth |
| Platform Access | Can be flush with surrounding ground | Depends on approach design |
| Receiving Pit | Can be integrated into civil works | Requires coordinated receiving design |
| Main Consideration | Site excavation and permanent installation | Foundation depth and access restrictions |
| Capacity Options | 100–150T | 100–150T |
A shallow foundation does not automatically mean that no civil works are required. The final structural design must consider soil bearing capacity, vehicle loads and equipment anchoring.
The vehicle access arrangement directly affects truck circulation and operating layout.
Trucks drive forward onto the unloading platform, complete the discharge process and leave forward through the designated exit.
This arrangement is useful when the facility handles frequent truck arrivals and can accommodate entry and exit circulation routes.
Trucks reverse into the unloading position and leave according to the designated site procedure after unloading.
This arrangement can be suitable where vehicle arrivals are less frequent or where the available site layout favors a single access direction.
Important: Drive-through and back-on arrangements are access configurations, not separate hydraulic unloading principles.
The loaded truck enters or reverses onto the tipping platform, depending on the selected access arrangement.
The truck is positioned and secured using the specified wheel stops, restraints and operating safety systems.
The hydraulic cylinders raise the platform and vehicle to the required unloading angle.
Material exits the truck through its designated discharge opening and enters the receiving pit or hopper.
The receiving system must have sufficient capacity for the expected discharge rate.
After unloading, the platform returns to its horizontal position. The vehicle restraints are released only after the required safety conditions are satisfied.
The truck then exits according to the selected traffic arrangement.
ZFITA provides stationary truck dumpers with rated capacities of up to 150 tons in the listed standard configurations.
Hydraulic components, structural support and lifting arrangements are selected according to vehicle weight and operating requirements.
Standard ZTTSJ configurations use 40° or 45° tipping angles.
Customized configurations can reach up to 55° where suitable for the machine, material and operating conditions.
The standard stationary platform size is 17 × 3 m for the listed ZTTSJ and ZTTQJ models.
Alternative dimensions can be reviewed based on the truck wheelbase, overall length and vehicle arrangement.
Selected systems can incorporate:
Stationary truck dumpers can be integrated with receiving pits, hoppers, belt conveyors and downstream bulk material processing systems.
Optional dust-control equipment can be considered for materials that generate airborne dust during unloading.
| Industry | Typical Materials | Important Requirements |
| Grain Processing | Corn, wheat, rice, soybeans | Dust control and receiving capacity |
| Fertilizer | Granular fertilizers and bulk minerals | Moisture and corrosion |
| Mining | Ore, coal and mineral aggregates | Load capacity and abrasion |
| Feed Processing | Soybean meal and DDGS | Flowability and material buildup |
| Biomass | Wood chips and pellets | Discharge opening and bridging |
| Industrial Bulk Handling | Other compatible bulk solids | Material properties and site layout |
ZFITA supplied three foundation-mounted drive-through truck dumping systems for a rice unloading project at Heilongjiang Liangshi Food in China.
The equipment uses a hydraulic rear-tipping arrangement with a maximum tipping angle of 55°.
The system includes a main hydraulic dumping deck, a smaller hydraulic deck that opens the receiving pit, and wheel-stop equipment for vehicle restraint.
The project demonstrates how a stationary hydraulic truck dumper can be configured for continuous truck unloading with forward vehicle access.
Before purchasing, confirm the following project requirements:
ZFITA can review these requirements to recommend a suitable hydraulic truck dumper configuration.
